This is a very nice example of a boxed Colt Python revolver, made in 1972. It has a 2.5 inch barrel and is chambered in .357 Magnum. Comes with a Colt archive letter stating it was shipped in 1972 to a sporting goods store in Denver, Colorado. Also shows the barrel length is factory original. The gun comes with the original box (serialized to the gun) and owners manual. The gun is matching and has retained about 94% of its original bluing. There is minor wear around the muzzle, on the front edges of the frame, and on the high edges of the cylinder. Light roll mark on the cylinder as well. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Mint grips. The bore is near-mint.
