Underwood loaded a 185 grain jacketed hollow point by Nosler to turn this round into a bona fide threat-stopper. Its jacket profile is optimized for unerring feeding in a semi-auto, and with its form-fitted lead core it both boosts accuracy and enhances highly reliable expansion.

Underwood gave this dedicated self-defense round a couple crucial bells and whistles. First, the Illinois-based manufacturer loaded low flash propellant which will avert blinding you after you fire your first shot wherever it’s dark. Second, Underwood chose a nickel-plated brass case, which reduces metal-on-metal friction to promote reliable cycling as well as fends off corrosion. And thanks to the Ducta-Bright 7a process by which the case was plated, it resists cracking to stay fit for reloading!
